AgroPilot is a GPS program to help you guide your tractor. It runs under the following operating systems: Windows CE 5.0, Windows CE 6.0, Windows Mobile 2003/5/6/6.1/6.5 and Windows Embedded Handheld 6.5. Devices which use those systems are PDA, Smartphones and GPS car Navigators (PNA).
With the current version of AgroPilot you can guide your tractor in two ways: following parallel straight lines or in the 'free mode'. In both modes AgroPilot will show you the worked areas. Each job can be saved individually for future reference, allowing you to replay the saved jobs, export them to your desktop PC or see the worked areas on Google Earths maps.
AgroPilot provides an affordable solution to help you to:
# Reduce costs: reduce the inputs and minimize waste.
# Increase operational efficiency: you can work more acres per day, reduce overlap, reduce operational failures and increase the operating speed.
This version of AgroPilot will run freely for about 4 minutes (with a 1 Hz GPS antenna).
This time is sufficient for test the program and the quality of your GPS, that is critical for a good performance.
If your GPS is not sufficiently accurate to provide you an acceptable guidance you can still use this program for tracebility, i. e, to have a digital registry of your jobs and process in your desktop computer, provide invoice, justify the worked surface, display over a map as Google Earth,...
